Abstract
The project called CORRI – Observation Centre for Risk Reduction Accidents has been defined and implemented in partnership with the Province of Frosinone in the context of the Annual Program of implementation of the National Road Safety of the Lazio Region.
CORRI foresees a combination of multidisciplinary actions aimed at promoting a culture of road safety through:
- Information and awareness;
- Education in schools and citizens;
- Strengthening and establishment of offices of the local police;
- Creation of a Monitoring Centre for Road Safety of the Province of Frosinone.
Apart from the development of a dedicated web space, we were organized public events designed to improve, enhance and raise awareness on issues concerning road safety. In addition, the Police Headquarters premises on the territory of the province were equipped with a data collection system designed to transfer information to the Provincial Monitoring Center that analyzes with a specific tool for the creation of reports and thematic maps.
